About Lynne
After graduation from E.E. Smith High School, I went on to graduate from Peace College and NC State University. I returned to Fayetteville to begin my career and later, a family. Managing a small local business, I understand the importance of giving back to the community.
I currently serve on the Airborne and Special Operations Museum Foundation Board, The ReStore Warehouse, Inc. Board, and the Advisory Board of my church, Fayetteville Community Church. I have served on many other area boards, including as a PWC Commissioner from 2012-2015. I was honored to be allowed to lend my expertise to these particular organizations while also meeting and collaborating with other community advocates and volunteers.
One of the many things that my father taught me was to not complain unless I could offer up a solution to the problem. I believe the only way to improve our city is for citizens with vision and business backgrounds to get involved.
I was elected to represent District 5 on Fayetteville City Council in November 2023. I currently serve on two committees. I plan to use my experience managing employees and customers, preparing budgets, and managing our businesses to help Fayetteville achieving true change in public safety, economic growth, and our plans for Fayetteville’s future.
